Dr. Liz Rios has been in the educational field in some way for more than 20 years. She has done corporate and nonprofit training to higher education online instructional design, accreditation, online best practice reviewer and academic management.
She has worked closely with higher education faculty in the United States and Latin America (mostly Colombia and Argentina) to achieve best practice technology infusion into teaching and learning with high energy.
Dr. Rios is deeply committed to helping learners understand the transformational power of technology. Her intimate knowledge of teaching and learning as an educator who has been in the classroom both on-ground and online with a down-to-earth style, has made her a highly sought after consultant.
Her educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, a Master of Arts in Management with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management from the Regent University School of Business, an earned Doctorate in Education in Organizational Leadership/Adult Education from Nova Southeastern University and post-graduate work at Fordham University School of Religion, Indiana University Center of Philanthropy and the Blanton Peale Graduate Institute. Dr. Rios also is in ABD stage for a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern University with a focus on social justice.
Dr. Rios is bilingual (English and Spanish) and also seeks to be a multi-digitalingual individual and has taken stand-alone courses in managing distance education environments at the University of Florida, College of Education. She uses her passion for cutting-edge technology to discover creative ways to assist schools and organizations in meeting their learning and productivity goals.
